Laptop Readiness Sessions are drop-in sessions where students who are beginning a program that mandates the use of a laptop can get personal assistance connecting their laptop to Sheridan's network and installing academic software required for their program.
Laptop Readiness Sessions are held prior to the start of the September and January semesters are available at the Davis campus in Brampton, the Hazel McCallion campus in Mississauga and the Trafalgar Road campus in Oakville. Most sessions are scheduled to coincide with new student Orientation events at each campus.
Details about specific sessions and registration instructions are available on the Laptop Requirements page about a month prior to the semester start dates indicated above. Students in participating programs will also receive email notification about upcoming sessions via their Sheridan email account.
